Who is this training for?

This training is aimed at mental health professionals who are responsible for estimating the level of danger of a suicidal act and carrying out complete interventions with people aged 14 and over, regardless of their practice environment (RSSS, CPS, other environment).

Training objectives

At the end of this training, the participant will be able to estimate the level dangerousness of a suicidal act, while having raised hope during the exploration of danger criteria and applying the required safety measures.

The training process

The training consists of three stages:

• Online self-study modules (+/- 10 hours)
  • You will automatically receive instructions on how to access the self-study modules by e-mail once you have registered.
• A group training session led by a qualified trainer (7 hours)
  • Self-learning modules must be fully completed to attend this session. You will need to provide your certificate of module completion.
• Group post-training follow-up (3.5 hours)
  • You will follow this post-training group follow-up 4 to 6 months after the 7-hour training session. Several dates are available. Further information will be sent to you in your confirmation e-mail.

This fee gives you access to all three stages of the training.
